I got sick and tired of this and finally re-researched a fix.

2024-07-30 – 6.1 on Android 14

This is a two-step process:

1) Enable per-app notification category management

1. Settings
2. Notifications
3. Advanced settings

4. [x] Manage notification categories for each app

2) Set the Galaxy Store notification categories

1. Settings
2. Apps
3. Click the top-right ⋮ and also include system applications
4. Search for and tap Galaxy Store
5. Under Privacy tap Notifications
6. Tap Notifications
7. At the bottom, tap Notification categories

8. Disable everything but “App updates”.
