I don't particularly care about the whole DE as such, but I love Openbox and LXPanel. Some LXDE components which I've used:

Important components:

• Openbox - (window manager)

• LXPanel - (taskbar)

Less important components:

• LXTerminal - (terminal emulator)
• lxappearance theme/appearance manager.

• GPicView

Garbage components:

• PCManFM - (file manager)

  • SpaceFM not only almost completely obsoletes this but is vastly superior in uncounted ways.
