It is, unfortunately, attached at the hip to Sony. Players have their hands tied by the Sony Player Studio. Sony has a blisteringly disreputable past (e.g. Sony BMG copy protection rootkit scandal), so I’m not happy about the association.

They are working with StoryBricks, although in what capacity remains to be seen. (Storybricks announcement)
