Roam around harassing NPCs and accidentally-clicking in combat.
It has some really obvious and fundamental flaws that make it just terrible to cope with. I feel like I have to struggle against its design. The abilities are buckshot across the interface, the inventory is a hot mess, and combat is awkward and unforgiving. The dialog trees are kind of stupid most of the time, and player customization isn’t particularly present, which is strange for a roleplaying game. I can only see that this has appeal because there have been no decent AAA games lately, and their variety is absolute shit.

- Why would there be a dropdown box for the yes/no nudity selector. Just have a checkbox like normal software.
- I should be able to have low graphics settings and maintain sharp text.

The fuck, why can’t I make a custom character?
- Okay, so I have to pick The Dark Urge.
- Can I change my appearance later? It should say if that’s possible.
- Can I change my name later? It should say if that’s possible.
- The fuck, randomizing the appearance of my guardian also randomizes its race..
- The opening cutscene has a Wilhelm scream
- Why the hell am I armed?
- Are people supposed to guess at the rotation controls?
- How do I reverse the middle-click rotate?

There are no handles to move a scroll bar.
- Oh, they’re on the left.
- The scroll bar is too thin, and not properly shown.
- I died to the jars. Sigh.
- Blesses you this day? Dude you have a dragon!
- Can’t I order allies to continually attack something when I’m out of combat?
- Well I guess shooting all the bulbs down doesn’t do anything, and it’s risky enough to kill an ally.
- Hovering over items gives a set of icons, but the icons mean nothing to me and I can’t move my mouse to the icons to get a tooltip of them.

The inventory is a mess.
- Cannot view the entire camps inventory at once. Have to select a character to talk with.
- Cannot distinguish packs by renaming or dying them.
- Cannot automatically assign certain packs to receive certain kinds of loot.
- When selling multiple items, the tooltip vanishes after
double-clickingeach item, forcing you to wiggle to get the tooltip for the next item.
- I wish it highlighted all lootable things, like 2.5D games do.
- Trying to talk to a little brain guy just says “you are beautiful” but I was running around trying to start an actual dialog like how all other things work..

Reloading means you can cheese everything.
first battle:
- I looted the fuck out of everything, and then sacrificed someone to go loot the illithid, then just rushed my guy to connect the thing.
- If I fall out of the aircraft and don’t splat, then why can’t the illithid that was just next to me?

second:
- Oh my fucking god, maybe ask if I want to use a potion on myself or throw it to someone else!
- Fuck it, re-loading and trying again.
- I figured out how to sneak.

Cannot rewind lines of dialog to re-read them.
- Oh, it’s hidden in a strange icon that pulls up a list. I was expecting a back button.

- Wow it was hard for me to figure out what “Choices Pending!” meant..

Holy fuck I should be able to choose which character enters dialog, or have them all be options with all their skills/etc; this is just stupid.

The druid camp with the goblins about to attack:
- Since when can I detect thoughts?
- Apparently my tattoo color choices for my companion got applied to me instead.
- So a I turn around and a kid goes down a very obvious hole and I have to use investigation to notice that? Come the fuck on. Plus I had two party members who were looking right at the kid.

So far I’ve noticed I think four obvious subtitle or voiceover errors. Ugh.

- How long do elixirs last? Research says until the next long rest but there’s no mention of that in the interface.
- So how is this warlock only level 2, having “felled hundreds of beasts and a fair few fiends”?
- How do I multiclass?
- Resting with everyone asleep isn’t a thing in D&D.

When exiting camp, you can’t arrange where you end up, and can be sent straight into combat.
Meh, combat is confusing and unforgiving, inventory is shit.. I’d rather play a JRPG/tactics game.
