I finally re-read it years later. What a shitty book. But I can see where the ideas in Johnny Mnemonic – (1995 movie) came from (same author). Also, the roleplaying games GURPS Cyberpunk and Shadowrun really do take from the genre. The roleplaying games are better than the book. =/
