For Pale Moon, see Pale Moon status bar.

Provides a legacy status bar on which extensions’ status can be dragged.

Also provides optional and configurable functionality for:

  • Status Text, e.g. when your mouse is over a link, its text is displayed in the status bar.
  • A page loading Progress Meter.

    • I place this in the top location bar. It’s an unobtrusive bar overlayed at its bottom and does not displace the normal text.
  • Download Status. i.e. a download progress meter and text.

  • cat
  • The shell builtin read.
  • A GUI option would be Xdialog.
  • I think it’s hilarious there are so many nice screenshots of a text program.

A program to present a GUI dialog, that lets a scripter get user input.

I didn’t use this for anything notable enough to form an opinion. It seems nice, but I didn’t want to have yet another application, especially one with a dependency, when there’s something commandline already (dialog).
