A comedic commentary of Aeon Flux – (2005 movie).

Although amusing and with a few laugh-out-loud moments, this is mostly a waste of time. The RiffTrax concept might be nice for either fans or haters of a film, but this RiffTrax of this movie was not particularly entertaining to me. I’ll likely get into other RiffTrax’s later, so perhaps my opinion will change, but for now I don’t recommend this.

In a ruined world, the last remaining city is revealed to be populated by clones, the need of which the lead scientist hopes to cure but his brother works to persist.

Overall a decent flick, but with great music that quickly becomes over-the-top with its loud pervasiveness. It starts strong, but its big ending action sequence looks cheesy as all hell. I can tentatively say I like this movie. I have, after all, seen it multiple times. Something in me is saddened somehow, as though this movie should have been better but I can’t put my finger on it. I’m not familiar with its source material, but I expect those who are would have more grounds to find fault with this movie.

I’ll add notes when I re-watch this.

In a future Tokyo which has survived a massive explosion, a highschool student motorcycle gang stumbles into a military research program whose earlier efforts lead to that disaster, and they become embroiled in the revived project.

A genre-defining movie on so many levels. It portrays a world unique to those unfamiliar with manga (a form of Japanese comics) and has both great storytelling and incredible animation.

It’s the post-zombie apocalypse, and somehow in permanent-winter a nine year old is a whiny first world prissy little bitch.

There is no plot. Even if, and especially if, you like zombie movies.. avoid. I liked it at first, but it soon drove me mad with confusion and annoyance. I had to stop before the half way mark.

There is a blackout and shit goes sideways.

It’s not bad, but I can see why people would give this 5/10. It’s a fair movie. It’s not compelling in the least, with characters I never really felt attached to. Maybe following multiple people worsens it.. cutting between them is jarring for me.

Two youths struggle to survive in a world ruined by aliens.

A terrible movie, even and perhaps especially for science fiction, alien invasion or ruined world movie fans. It’s slow and plodding, with a crappy plot, and has no real “feel” to it.

A world broken by plague sends a team back in time to prevent the virus from spreading.

It’s better than a B-movie but definitely not A-quality. I would class this as a good TV-movie. Worth a watch if you’re into science fiction.
