This is an extremely feminine movie from many angles. It misses a few excellent opportunities to explore masculinity, such as the coping mechanisms the males with speaking roles vaguely display. Overall this appeals to everyone or you're sexist.

This is a very high low-budget movie. It's over-the-top, corny but only almost-fun. Some of the effects are amazing, but some are so damned bad I can't imagine how they thought this could be anything more than a middling success. From a writing perspective, it's not bad moment-to-moment, but the overall plot is a bit stupid.
This has nothing going for it but the incredible acting of a clown.
