For some reason some woman somehow makes some sort of time travel device to experience plodding drama.

Loosely time travel, loosely science fiction, loosely a movie; not recommended.

In a world that’s been ruined for some reason, a perpetual motion machine’s side effect causes it’s thief to loop the same few hours.

Fair for something so apparently low-budget, but it’s lack of resolution ultimately makes it shit; pass.

Fair.

A military man is enlisted into a mission to save Chicago United States from a terror attack.

A fantastic, emotional, movie. This has all the elements of quality which make a movie truly great.

There really isn’t any actual “substance” to this film, in the sense that there are few references to people, places, or things. It’s all one contained package that is surprisingly easy to lose time with. I think the drama (and romance) is the real draw for me.

A twelve year old kid is kidnapped by an alien research drone, who experiments on him by stuffing him full of knowledge, and although his brain ends up “leaking”, he is the drone’s only chance to get back home after hitting some power lines and getting shocked.

Though there aren’t many kid-friendly science fiction movies out there, this is easily the best among them. Even ignoring its “present day” time, it’s beginning to show its age. The fact that its “present day” is 1986 will inevitably be its biggest hurdle to accessibility to today’s young. This movie is definitely worth a remake every fifteen years or less.

Adventurers find a cave system where time inside is slowed.

All in all it’s pretty weak.

A supernerd’s future self visits him to proclaim a warning of his wasting his life.

Plodding and boring. There are some laughs, but I don’t see why this would be considered a comedy.

A man afflicted with precognition thinks that injecting gallium will help him save the people he loves likes.

Movies like this lean very heavily on acting and subtleties of storytelling which this movie simply lacks in enough intensity to make it stand out from a student’s short film. This is a hard pass even for people who like these basic ideas.
