A military guy with no memory awakens to a world invaded by machines.

A low-effort confusing movie with no real story arc or resolution. Not recommended.

An optics specialist is sent to investigate the unusual readings the military is getting from his equipment.

A solid movie all around. Great action and a good world, but with enough fuzzy science and The A-Team-style jury-rigging to rivet it solidly to TV-movie quality.

The story of the seven samurai .. I mean the 47 ronin I mean the 21 Sihks defending a fort.

It’s not too over-the-top Bollywood, so it’s a perfectly watchable “yay us” hero story.

  • Based on actual events.

A watchable waste of time.

Newly-developed military nano-technology is stolen by terrorists in a plot to take over the world, and only a super-elite team chosen from the international best can stop them.

This movie is another example of both an astonishingly wide gap between its original audience and current audience, and a needless unimagination in original movie universe-building authorship.

  • Properly titled G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
  • Based on the G.I. Joe toy / cartoon franchise.
  • In association with Hasbro.

A documentary following soldiers fighting the aliens left over from an invasion.

I rather liked this! People talk about this being low budget, but until it’s pointed out I doubt someone would really notice.

A dude goes places and does things, looking for some stuff I think. There are explosions and is smoking.

Noted here just for one of those “oh, I’ve seen that” references.

I don’t recall particularly liking or disliking it.
