The magical world cowers in fear as it's recruited or picked off by Voldemort's forces.

This rides on the successes of its predecessors while technically going nowhere itself. The writing is far better, but it's an episode. You can really feel how much this movie is milking the franchise.

Harry Potter gathers his own strength in response to Voldemort.

A little more adult than its predecessors, but still badly written; bubblegum.

A murderer somehow breaks free from a maximum security prison to break into a school to hug his godson.

It's terrible writing just like the other movies, but it's watchable.

The founder of that particular wizarding school was a dick, left, and yet still founded house Slytherin. He left a dickish trap in the school to, apparently, continue to be a dick from beyond the grave.

And stuff. Don't think about it too hard. It's watchable but childish like all the others.

A boy discovers he has superpowers, uses them for selfish purposes, and makes his life far more complicated.

Straightforward and safe. It has an interesting enough premise, universe, and acting, to carry it well enough. Worth the watch.

During a zombie apocalypse, a guy with a past gets selected for his skills to pursue a cure.

Pretty good all around. I like the realism.

A couple moves to a quiet and friendly town, but the wife, with no job and her kids grown up, has enough free time to be unhappy.

I didn't like it compared to The Stepford Wives - (1975 movie).

A coal miner survives an apocalypse, but his struggles are only beginning.

Patient and excellent. A solid movie that survives its times. Also good for the terminally woke, to rub in the fact that this content has been mainstream since forever.
