A really straightforward and tame movie. It's absolutely nothing compared to the awe that 80s kids movies have, and I would never recommend it to kids with a brain.

A lovely couple move to a lovely town, have trouble with a couple of yuppies, and strike a deal to get rid of them.
A fast-paced, great movie. Not horror, and not comedy, just quality bubblegum. It's worth a watch once, but in my mind it's not good enough to be a "classic".

This is somehow not an alternate Batman origin story. Although it's intentionally slow-paced in a lot of places to draw out the emotion, it is quite nice; recommended.
