A mysterious message is detected by an astronaut, who learns its senders are on their way to Earth.
Fair, and moody, but it feels like there should be more content.

A astronaut has an accident in space and comes back crazy.
It's like a sort of brooding bubblegum show; light on the science, heavy on the fiction, and with some horror mixed in.
I can't remember what movie this reminds me of. I think Another Earth - (2011 movie)

In future with a colonized galaxy, a mad scientist develops an evolving quantum computer which he believes proves determinism and prediction of the collapse of civilization.
It started interesting, but dove into too many plotlines, timelines, and characters, and then space-wizards. I find it predictable and tedious, and I'm constantly nagged at there being zero good looking women, just passable persons of pigment hired for The Message.

A prequel to Star Trek - (1966 show) but with canon revisionism.
Boss girls, shit exposition, sprinkled with wokeness, too many distractingly-ugly women.

A fair show. That's pretty much all I can say about it, really. It has some significant presentation of humans being human, which is rare and special.

It's not bad, but the tone bothers me. It's so tryhard "epic" that it's strained.

Its first impression is that it's sort of Star Trek parody-thing, it quickly unfolds into its own unique space-adventure-drama.
Fantastic originality and mood. Recommended, rapidly approaching highly recommended.
Verdict: While it's good, it's not great, at least not for me. I got bored in the first couple of episodes of season two. Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoyed the first several episodes.
Like other shows these days, I became interested in this purely because "those people" "hate" it.
