Some dude with incredible credentials is somehow floundering around Los Vegas, but an ex of his enlists him for her vengeance and with huge personal consequences for him. Because that’s what women do to men.

Kindof a hollow bubble gum movie. I mean if Jason Statham is your thing then it’s him playing him, only this time he’s less competent or interesting.

A man’s dog son is killed, and he plays the long game to find the killers to avenge him.

Kinda plodding, but okay I guess. It’s likeable but a bit flat. Don’t watch it unless you’re into .. I don’t even know what genre this is. I guess unless you’re into Jason Statham.

  • Trailer
  • Only a single woman gets hurt; she dies off-screen.

When an asshole father dies, his asshole son learns everything was given to a brother he didn’t know existed.

Parallels - (2015 movie) image

Entertainment > Movies >

A missing father leaves clues that lead to a mysterious building that leads to other worlds.

While it doesn’t feel slow, it ultimately doesn’t get far enough to come across as anything other than a pilot episode for a TV series. Not recommended, but it’s good enough that for people who are vaguely interested in the science fiction of it, it might be worth watching on a second screen.
