These are some old Discipline Priest notes from when Cataclysm was new a we were still trying to figure our shit out.

World of Warcraft questing can be made a whole hell of a lot easier and faster. Here’s some of the stuff I’ve played with.
2012-08-27 edit: I use Leatrix Plus for quest acceptance and completion, and my own macro/hotkey for clicking on the topmost item in my tracked quest list. Nothing else is needed.

So I’m doing a random, leveling an unimportant alt, and lately I’ve decided to go DPS while I run around gathering. I figured it was good practice since I had already done the raiding thing on a resto shaman. I’ve had lots of fun. But there’s one big problem. Blizzard anally raped the concept of assembling a team.
Let’s go over some obvious stuff.

World of Warcraft, discipline priests.
You look at your meters. Healing done shows your discipline priest at the bottom of the list. That’s good! It means your other healers are pulling their weight. The day a discipline priest outperforms a traditional healer in healing done is the day you send them home to retrain. Or maybe they were wearing their RP gear set to the raid?
You look at your healing + absorbs meters, and your discipline priest’s numbers are so beyond the next healer down that there is absolutely no comparison . What gives? Is something wrong? No, with numbers like that your Discipline Priest is simply doing their job correctly. It isn’t even an indication of that Discipline Priest being “better” than any other healer on your team!
You cannot compare an absorber with your traditional healers. I’ll explain.
