An ugly, unaccomplished, student discovers a hidden world within which he becomes a hero and transforms himself in that and the real world.

It might be quite good, but because the main character is superpowered it’s a pretty shitty story angle; not recommended.

Fuck man, this show is utterly alien. It’s Chinese, and this storytelling is just fucking terrible. I guess I’ll wait for the American version.

A NEET dies but finds himself reincarnated in a fantasy world, where he grows into with the competence and usefulness that he ought to have been working for in his previous life.

Starts strongly, but really spirals down into pulp crap. Still perfectly watchable overall. Recommended even for people who don’t like this sort of entertainment but like the sword-and-sorcery topic in general.
