The last remaining city in a ruined world learns it has an oversight committee funding a research project overseeing them.

An adequate movie, filled with no character development, an uninteresting world and a mediocre plot. Good for a watch for people who like the earlier movies in this series, or people too young and dumb to know what a good movie actually is.

A black man is black and something something racism white men are bad but that’s totally not racist.

Oh god this is so bad. I gave this more than a half an hour and I was bounced between being insulted, offended, angered and bored.

Aliens are sending spores to colonize Earth, but when humans send a retaliatory force to their homeworld they learn the bugs are a far more dangerous foe than anticipated.

It’s a largely flawless movie. Amazing fun for what it is, which is the sort of military movie where only one soldier runs out of ammo once in the entire movie.

Yawn.

A privileged middle-upper class white woman loafs about taking advantage of her male harem.

Snooty as all fucking hell. I want to play father figure to the main character and paddle some sense into her. The characters and the way they’re portrayed are so grating that I couldn’t get to 25 minutes before being too disgusted to continue.

In a barely-colonial North America, a semi-savage man survives some harsh shit in search for a dude that did some stuff that he doesn’t like.

Slow and pretty. I’m certain this would appeal to some people, just not to me. It’s cinematic, outdoorsy, survivalistic, travelling, manly and all that. But it’s slow and nerve-wracking as fuck.

TODO – Crime and stuff.

After seeing Black Mass – (2015 movie) I’m reminded to put this into the growing catalogue. I’ll have to come back and re-watch it to add any real notes. Though I’ve seen this, it isn’t in my collection and I don’t expect to see it again any time soon.

Being ancient and good, this movie has become the standard for a “certain type” of movie. It got there first, so it set the bar. One which arguably hasn’t been reached by other movies.

The FBI make an alliance with the mob.

I’m not a particularly big fan of this type of movie, but this one was good. I don’t think it’s worth watching a second time. I got bored most of the way through.

In the past, a dude retells the story of some stuff that happened on some island way over there. Also there are accents and titties.

Maybe I’m not in the mood or my tastes have changed. I thought I’d like this, but I got bored.
