An add-on which helps deal with bookmarks. It has three features which I really appreciate:

I can’t count the number of times I’ve updated/upgraded only to be kicked in the teeth by some smartass programmer’s bright idea for a feature.
It’s one thing to add bloat to a program, it’s another to force it down your users throat.
I really don’t mind having a featureful program. Really, I don’t. However, when I’m used to things working one way I don’t like having things change without my permission.
I also really hate when that happens and I can’t figure out how to change things back the way they were.
I decided to check out the newest version of Firefox. I didn’t do it because of my Flash issues, but because I had heard of the new JavaScript. Ok, I should say the “old” original SpiderMonkey engine from Netscape Navigator which has now been updated to become TraceMonkey.
Firefox has traditionally been a pig of a program, and so it doesn’t surprise me to see them drop entire chunks of code in preference to a rewritten component. This is the smart thing to do.
Macromedia Adobe Flash is a stupid idea that has been implemented badly. Hell, since day 0 the entire concept of browser plugins has been shaky at best. Seriously.
