I always find it curious there is a website owned by a browser manufacturer which happens to not work with another browser (like with the GMail contacts list).
When using the YouTube quick list, and autoplaying through it, scrolling up to see previous items in the right-hand mini quicklist doesn’t generally work. Scrolling all the way down through 100 videos is a terrible idea, and Firefox’s classic 100% CPU issue comes back.

I tried it for a while, and I checked in on it and see no particular activity. I just don’t see the point of it. I’d rather get noticed the old fashioned way — writing well and being linked-to.

On an old and soon to be spam-ridden account, I received a spam from a Twitter “user” (advertiser). They invited me by email using a standard Twitter feature.
Within that email, Twitter provides an opt-out link. But that opt-out link doesn’t actually work.

Did you know about this? I didn’t. Thanks to some random surfing and an EFF post, I just learned of it.
With this browser plugin you can permanently opt out of the DoubleClick cookie, which is an advertising cookie that Google uses. The plugin lets you keep your opt-out status for this browser even when you clear all cookies.
I finally got around to testing the Firefox 3.5 betas since beta 4. It’s only been 8 days and I’m now using my fourth version.

Like many programs, Firefox can be themed.
As popular as Firefox is, out of 397 themes I only found three I wanted to try. All three failed my review.
The one which came closest to being usable was ChromiFox Basic, but I disqualified it when they took the typeahead search within the URL field and ruined its readability. =(
