Redirect your 404 pages to a page or a custom URL. Turn them into 301 (page moved), 302 or 307 codes so that search engines aren’t so offended by missing pages.

Does the job, and it’s an important job.

I do believe that using CloudFlare will hijack your 404 page though. =(

I experimented with this during my replacing web browser components project as a replacement for various ad blocking, Greasemonkey and Stylish.

This looks like it hasn’t been updated in forever, because there are references to it being tested under Windows 95/98.

I experimented with cliget during my replacing web browser components project. I was interested in replacing Greasemonkey and Stylish, Adblock (now I use Adblock Latitude), Change Referer Button, etc. While I did get it working, I didn’t stick with it.
