World of Warcraft questing can be made a whole hell of a lot easier and faster. Here’s some of the stuff I’ve played with.
2012-08-27 edit: I use Leatrix Plus for quest acceptance and completion, and my own macro/hotkey for clicking on the topmost item in my tracked quest list. Nothing else is needed.
(Note: some of the images went missing from an old host, and all I have are thumbnails.)

OptionHouse is an AddOn to manage AddOns. It’s a pretty simple concept.

This found heavy use until Blizzard made sufficient UI improvements to obsolete the need for frames addons.

An AddOn to make raid fights easier. Although Blizzard added similar functionality into many of their fights, I consider this absolutely mandatory.
For most people I’d say “just install it”. It does need some significant configuration for many fights, and for my minimalistic taste. I mean, who the fuck cares about an enrage timer bar?

Note that, to reduce the size/complexity of the addon, they maintain the current expansion’s content as one addon, and other expansions in other addons (listed on their page).

Bind keys or mouse clicks to spells and macros when mousing over a unit frame.
I use this for clicking on frames to heal that target.
The addon that I may have used the longest. Absolutely mandatory, especially for healers.

A quest helper which lists comments for various quests.
This is important because many quest descriptions are confusing as hell.

A bag AddOn, with ludicrously-complex functionality.
It’s display windows are built from ‘virtual bars’, where you assign categories to bars so that items in that category are displayed on the specific bars you want.
ArkInventory was slow as fuck to log in with or open my bags/bank with, though an update that introduced delayed start helped a lot. This was probably due to my heavy customization. I upgraded my computer.
