A coal miner survives an apocalypse, but his struggles are only beginning.
Patient and excellent. A solid movie that survives its times. Also good for the terminally woke, to rub in the fact that this content has been mainstream since forever.

A beta tester stumbles into software with a back door also used by high-level hackers.
In many respects it aged poorly, but it has a reasonable core message.
Inappropriately rated: Suicide

A drug addict is swept up into extremely high stakes modelling.
The constant time travel is annoying as fuck, but it’s a requirement for it. I don’t like that part of things, but it’s otherwise quite good.

Aliens arrive with human ambassadors, who struggle with a decision to return or stay.
This movie has a poor tone and struggles with abandonment and mortality; it’s generally depressing. Not recommended, especially if you liked the first movie.
Inappropriately rated: PG-13 but with suicide.

A Beauty and the Beast story about a warrior poet man who feels unworthy of love because of his appearance.
It’s absolutely no comparison to Cyrano de Bergerac – (1950 movie), so much so that I have to flag this as disliked!
Watch Cyrano de Bergerac – (1950 movie) instead.

A hotel manager-type is key in a plot with a politician-type.
Kinda meh-okay, but god damn is Rachel McAdams beautiful.
