The future world is screwed, and humans struggle to survive in a poisoned world filled with monstrous insects.

About as good as you’d expect for a Japanimated movie from 1984, which is damned good.

Stuff and a guy does things and there’s a guy who likes riddles for some reason.

Nothing is explained. This is about as interesting as it’s color scheme.

Some idiots go grave robbing to protect a thing, leading bad guys there to steal the thing, then a worse guy shows up, then assholes some fight instead of talk, and there is some dialog throughout and with all the action and dead men, no women are even hurt; equality!

Meh. Big fucking meh with a weak script, acting, story.. everything is just weak.

The gods are real and deposited horrifying trinkets, one of which falls into the hands of a ne’er-do-well who abuses it to the great misfortune of everyone.

God damn Gal Gadot is beautiful. Also there is a movie which isn’t half bad.

Charlie Brown worries about school while everyone else is preparing for new years.

Adorable and rather adult with significant literature references.

(New Year)

This was tacked on at the end of another movie, so the timestamps are wrong. I don’t care to do the math to subtract ~41 minutes from each entry.

The young Rerun wants a dog for Christmas.

It’s adorable but not particularly Christmasy.

A veteran mercenary is double-crossed and finds himself blacklisted into becoming a general in hell’s army.

This is a very high low-budget movie. It’s over-the-top, corny but only almost-fun. Some of the effects are amazing, but some are so damned bad I can’t imagine how they thought this could be anything more than a middling success. From a writing perspective, it’s not bad moment-to-moment, but the overall plot is a bit stupid.

This has nothing going for it but the incredible acting of a clown.

A boy that’s beaten up a lot decides that murder is both the best revenge and career. Wait, it’s about the man though. Well there’s narration so don’t worry he’s never in any danger.

Kinda funny and kinda interesting sometimes, but god damn does it drag on; it could have been done much better, and done better quite easily too.
