People are interviewed about a major new scientific discovery.

This documentary-style sure doesn't get to the point.

Inspired by the French Revolution, a rebellion is launched against Spaniards in South America.

This movie leverages the "yeah freedom!" but spins the old yarn that all of the rich are bad and oppressors and the poor are good and oppressed. Entertaining, though propagandistic. It is particularly interesting to think of the underlying themes of the events portrayed in this movie, and how Socialism has plunged Venezuela into a dark age. I don't know that I would bother recommending this; it's alright.

  • aka Libertador
  • Although this is in Spanish, a tiny amount is English, and a tinier amount is in French.
