From a future destroyed by plague, a prisoner “volunteers” to be sent back in time to fetch pre-infection samples.

A great movie that stands apart both from its contemporaries and even from movies of today. It touches upon a lot of topics I find interesting in movies.

A team investigates the killing of genetics researchers by their secret laboratory’s artificial intelligence, learning it had a good reason to do so.

Quite good, even after its era. It does not show much age except for one monster. This movie headed the resurrection of the zombie movie sub-genre.

Set in the Resident Evil universe, it is specifically a prequel to the story of Resident Evil – (1996 game)

A machine somehow shows that a piece of a person goes somewhere else, and stupid people assume there is an afterlife.

A straightforward drama-type movie.

What’s the opposite of brain candy? It numbs the mind in a kind of monotone hum. While I originally said “terrible writing for a terrible world with terrible characters” on second viewing maybe that’s harsh; I actually kinda like it.

An comet’s path crosses the earth’s, and a shuttle crew is to rendezvous with it to plant nukes to divert its course.

With a decent story and good characters, the science proves, unfortunately, fundamentally flawed. It’s still a good watch and doesn’t show its age.

As usual, Christopher Lambert is a terrible actor. I just realized he’s another Keanu Reeves, where if you like the guy you’ll be just fine.. and you’ll also know how each of his characters will look and feel.

Kelly Brook is a work of art.
