A Nazi demon-turned monster hunter is one of a pair of the supernatural who might bring about the end of the mankind.

Oh my god this is a departure from any sort of quality from what inspired it. It's so awkward I couldn't finish it.

7 gunmen, for approximately 2.5 reasons, fight on behalf of a town they don't actually care about.

Fair. I mean.. it's just fair. Why bother with a remake if it's not going to even attempt to be better? It's a knockoff of the 1960 version set in California United States. Recommended for fans of westerns, but only so you can say that you saw it..

A police officer almost dies in the course of duty, but is converted into a cyborg.

When it came out I was given the impression that it would be bad, especially compared to the original, but it was fair. Not good, but fair.

People have a refreshing nap and wake up to be suspiciously-nice.

A remake of a remake of an adaptation of a book. And it shows. At least Nicole Kidperson is hot.

Be certain to skip the first couple of minutes; they are a horrible horrible spoiler.

On the capture of his last surviving clone, an evil alien enacts a time-editing plan to defeat his human enemies.

It's basically a long episode. As such, it would be impossible to appreciate without having watched much of the series.

Note: I don't know that I would put it here in this the viewing order.

In a futuristic Germany, a mute guy has relationship troubles.

An interesting world, but generally terrible writing.

  • German is unnecessarily sprinkled throughout this movie.
  • Intended as a spiritual successor to Moon - (2009 movie), though I don't see how.

From a future destroyed by plague, a prisoner "volunteers" to be sent back in time to fetch pre-infection samples.

A great movie that stands apart both from its contemporaries and even from movies of today. It touches upon a lot of topics I find interesting in movies.

A special agent combat-cyborg pursues a cyber criminal who comes to have a special interest in her.

Although I like it, I suspect it's because I like the original so much and I can't be unbiased. I also think Scarlett is hot.

I became even more interested in seeing this movie in light of the incorrectly-supposed-whitewashing of the lead character. Antisocial injustice is actually pretty good at recommending things.

Payback - (1999 movie) poster

Betrayed by his partner-in-crime over syndicate buy-in money, and by his wife over his affair, a man returns from his assumed-murder to collect his cut from their last job.

An amazing movie that has a great tone throughout. It's straightforward and blunt. Although Mel Gibson is flat, it works for both the character and the movie.
