A rich computer program pulls a race car driver into the future so he can date his ex girlfriend.

It's so damned 90s but I like it a lot.

A man working for the police is tasked to hunt down murderous artificial humans.

Moody and mostly-slow, relying heavily on the setting. It's good, and not just "good for it's time". It has a spectacular tone and style to it; definitely recommended.

In a world where virtual reality is the primary lifestyle, a "mixed world" private detective is tasked to track down terrorists.

While it has a crazy amount of narration, it is really intelligent and subtle.

The Matrix Resurrections - (2021 movie) poster

Neo and Trinity are alive because of science fiction magic, and their minds are blue-pilled again because they create lots of energy for the quota of an AI guy.

The writing is bad, the filmmaking is bad, the in-movie lore is awkward and poorly explained, it has callbacks to earlier movies which strip it of uniqueness, the characters are bad, and the acting is mediocre (sometimes because the characters are bad).

This is not a good movie, either as a standalone movie or a Matrix movie.
