While this functionality is available from other programs like VirtuaWin, and it worked for me on Windows XP and Windows 8.1, this sort of functionality is now baked into Windows 10.
TODO – Screenshots. I would have to use some non-standard method. Windows 8.1 would allow me to take taskbar-only screenshots, but Windows 10 does not.
I’m the very first person ever to want to be able to see the text on my applications in the taskbar.
This is an unsolved problem.

2.0 Introduced filtering a scripting system to customize the display of loot drops. This makes Path of Exile head and shoulders above its peers.

The default Windows explorer.exe is unbearable after using SpaceFM on Linux for so long. I can’t deal with multiple windows even with all the shit that’s cooked into Windows 8.1 to supposedly help.
I need a tabbed explorer, and not some oddball replacement file manager.

Pale Moon 25.5.0 fixed a long-standing bug, where the user’s spell check language preference is not saved for very long.
Detailed instructions on fixing it are in British English Dictionary, using that en_GB dictionary as the example.
First, an advertisement to Windows 10 got baked into Windows 8.1, probably via its update service. Sigh.
It appeared as a tray icon.
The resulting window, which doesn’t tell me nearly enough, has “Learn more on windows.com” at its top-right.
That leads to
www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-upgrade?ocid=win10_auxapp_LearnMore_win10
.. which does not exist. [ 1 ] what I saw · what I should have seen

Firefox removed the status bar a long while back. Users who want that functionality were directed to install Status-4-Evar.
Pale Moon is based on a Firefox code base from before changes like that. It therefore does not need that addon, and additionally comes with configuration for its status bar.
However, I see in about:config there are entries for status4evar, so maybe it’s just integrated and doesn’t show up in the list of extensions.
