A refreshing piece of work, with the intellectual morals to actually talk to the men’s rights advocates being talked about. The contrast between “the sides” is truly astonishing.

The Romulans have an internal power struggle, and The Enterprise is brought in for diplomacy by one of their factions, which has a member particularly interested in their captain.
Generally trashy and obvious, with multiple issues throughout. Not worth watching. Definitely avoid if not already a fan of the television show, as this is an absolute mess without a moderate understanding of its lore.

An amazing movie that has a great tone throughout. It’s straightforward and blunt. Although Mel Gibson is flat, it works for both the character and the movie.
Apparently there’s a “Mysterious Press” novel.

Although it does take a little while for this series to get going, it’s well worth it. The general mood grows steadily, and all of the characters develop very nicely.. including the stick-in-the-mud.

An adequate movie, with an acceptable amount of over-the-top nonsense. Definitely worth watching for fans of the original. Easily stands the test of time.

I believe I watched this movie already, but perhaps it faded from memory due to its mediocrity. I couldn’t watch very far in before being entirely turned off at the concept of the main character.

Not great and not recommended. It’s got a shaky story and a weakly-portrayed world. Both the movie’s world and the film quality are particularly low. Its acting and speech are stiff.
In English, the title is Secret Wedding.
