A warlord seeks to unleash the enemies of the gods to kill them.

While watchable, I would only recommend it to fans of the sword and sandal genre who can also stand the “quality” that Hollywood offers.

In a forest where any who die rise as zombies, an escaped convict does something something.

I got 1/3 in and got bored. It’s too over-the-top.

Blade meets other vampire hunters who are working against vampire plans to resurrect the progenitor vampire to try to make better vampires. Again.

A mediocre movie. For big fans of the first two, this is recommended. For people who found the first one okay and the second one merely passable, this can be safely skipped.

For fans of either of Jessica Biel or Ryan Reynolds, this is a look into their future movies.

  • Properly titled Blade: Trinity

Follows a unit in the 101st Airborne Division during World War 2.

Quite a good story. It’s full of faces I know. Great acting and spectacular realism.

  • Note: This video style is shaky.

  1. Band of Brothers – (2001 show)
  2. The Pacific – (2010 show)

An comet’s path crosses the earth’s, and a shuttle crew is to rendezvous with it to plant nukes to divert its course.

With a decent story and good characters, the science proves, unfortunately, fundamentally flawed. It’s still a good watch and doesn’t show its age.

An evil scientist constructs a robot surrogate and transfers his consciousness into it to carry out his plans for global domination by kidnapping a very wealthy sheikh’s son.

A watchable moderate-budget movie which somehow still falls into an 80s-cheese style. It’s rare to find such a bold movie, even with it being unashamedly graphic to the point of dark comedy. I think that’s why I like it.

It’s worth watching once.

Fist of Legend - (1994 movie) image

Upon hearing of his master’s death, a man returns to Shanghai amidst tensions from its Japanese occupation, and learns there was foul play.

Quite a good movie, with all the basic elements. There’s next to none of the B-movie cheese that’s pervasive of such films, so it’s good enough for everyday people.

It is the 50s, and a Los Angeles private detective is swept up into intrigue when a job he takes goes sideways.

Meh. I can see how this would be interesting for someone who like gumshoe movies, but I don’t so I’m bored. It, throughout, seems like it’s trying too hard to be like an old black-and-white movie.
