A man wakes up locked in a mysterious automated cell.

Very moody and intelligent. Highly recommended from every angle it pushes toward: Reality-questioning, ruined world, prisons, artificial intelligence.. everything.

A dying man wants to save himself by creating digital immortality without considering the consequences, and time travelers go back to murder him and save the future of humanity.

Fair, but it does have some significant holes in it. Nisan Arikan is beautiful, but that can’t make up for the flaws. It’s fair, but not recommended; it’s for the extreme collectors.

A boy with a cellphone shot into his head develops cyber-synesthesia and superpowers.

It has a story and acting. While it’s perfectly watchable, it doesn’t set the scope of the superhero’s powers and ends up being a bunch of deus ex machina.

The world has been selectively-nuked somehow, an EMP is actually a virus or something, and people are being mind controlled somehow I think, and a man is an exception somehow. I don’t get it.

It has a strange unevenness to it, where it’s not light enough to be bubblegum and not serious enough to be.. serious. It does keep on going, with no pause to let you think about how stupid or strange things out.

The only passenger on an extremely long voyage learns the trip isn’t what she thought it would be.

Definitely worth a watch; good, though not great.
