systemd is a pox on Linux. It has huge amount of dependencies. As it’s critical to a distribution, and it’s folding in a whole lot of code, it’s widely considered unnecessary bloat and a point of attack.

I don’t know where I heard of this music player, but I had recently bookmarked it. I took a moment to check it out.
It failed my review.
poweroff replaces halt for how I was using it.
I finally took some time to look into why halt wasn’t powering off my computer. This was a very long-standing bug, and it was odd that something so obvious would go unfixed.
