Automagically repairs a boot loader.

This is something I wish I had/knew about a long time ago. I’ve had bootloader misadventures that really stressed me out.

I’ll accept this, even though it uses systemd.

TheGun icon

A notepad.exe replacement in 6,144 bytes.

Particularly notable because its configuration is done through an external program which directly modifies the THEGUN.EXE binary.

I tossed this in with my portable applications. It’s tiny, and I figure it’s one of those “just in case” sort of applications.

A malware scanner.

Mostly-meh.

  • Their portable scanner is still just an installer.
  • It found an Wajam plugin from Magic Camera, presumably installed for either Internet Explorer or Edge.

    • During scanning, it claims to have found infected files, but those files were neither reported at the end of its scan nor found in its quarantine. What gives?
The irony of not having an icon.

BeCyIconGrabber is a small utility to view icons and cursors of any sizes that are contained in EXE, DLL, ICL, OCX, CPL, SRC, ICO and CUR files. The icons/cursors can be saved either individually as an icon, cursor, bitmap, png file or collectively within resource libraries.
