A console web browser included with most Linux distributions.
It's shit, though.
Software >
A console text editor.
Jed does radical new things, such as allowing the user to use tab
to insert a "tab" character. It represents an incredible new frontier of usability. Oh, and it has a menu, like any real program would.
Unfortunately, it's misconfigured and there are no clues as to how to fix it. So it's useless.
TODO - add patch notes

A fast, open source, cross-platform Web browser based on the Links web browser.
Where Lynx is the standard console web browser for most Linux distributions and is complete shit, Links is fucking awesome.
I had used this for some time but abandoned it for a while. I'll try it again eventually.

An operating system too cool to be allowed to survive.
Completely dead, with all links I had collected being confirmed-abandoned.
Haiku is the only live an open source effort I know of.

A DOS emulation program.
Absolutely essential for emulating DOS not just within Windows or a traditional Linux environment, but within ARM/Linux as well, for palmtops and phones.
For games I've played via it, see /tag/dosbox-games (although the tag is new and not populated well)
