A super-secret military robot suit appears in a part-time mechanic’s truck, and he fiddles with it enough to get trapped in it. Wanting to visit his soon to be ex-girlfriend, he wrecks a path of havoc while being chased by people trying to retrieve or destroy it.

Artificial intelligence is created, but they forgot to send a philosopher, so things go to shit somehow there are survivors.

It borrows from various other things, but doesn’t execute anything very well. It just comes off as being badly written. I should have guessed based on the production company’s amateur-night page.

A girl is digitized, becoming a valuable commodity for people seeking power and immortality.

This might be interesting for fans of science fiction history, but it’s dumb in too many places for me to enjoy it.

If you end up watching this, here are my edited Andromedia subtitles.

An anti-robot cop investigates the death of the father of contemporary artificial intelligence-enabled robots.

A great movie through and through. Highly recommended and a welcome addition to my science fiction movie catalog.

An evil scientist constructs a robot surrogate and transfers his consciousness into it to carry out his plans for global domination by kidnapping a very wealthy sheikh’s son.

A watchable moderate-budget movie which somehow still falls into an 80s-cheese style. It’s rare to find such a bold movie, even with it being unashamedly graphic to the point of dark comedy. I think that’s why I like it.

It’s worth watching once.

A mercenary group is sent to an island for training exercises, only to learn that it was being used to train military robots.

Although pretty stiff because of the lead character, this is a decent enough movie. Worth watching for science fiction fans, but not for military movie fans.

TODO – Oh god my DVD looks awful. I’m spoiled by Blu-Ray.

I’m not really sure what’s going on with this movie. Something about cyborgs and a guy who is in love with one that he’s trying to “resurrect”.

It’s an interesting watch, but probably only because it’s Korean. I don’t get to see a lot of foreign science fiction movies outside of the glut of Japanese anime. I sort of like it, but I tend to get confused in a couple of places. It’ll be recommended, but only to those of a similar mind to me.

Very good subtitles; very few were awkward for me.

A genius-recluse works on artificial intelligence, and brings in a young man to test his most recent success.

I don’t know what it says about me, but I find this movie innocent, beautiful, and deeply disturbing. I honestly don’t think it would be moral of me to recommend this to anyone except as a sort of cautionary tale of the inevitable.

The people of Detroit are being forcefully evicted and relocated to a corporate-owned city.

Unless you’re a serious fan, just give this a pass. It doesn’t really build on the franchise and it’s corny.
