A computer cleaning tool.
All magical and stuff. I guess. I don’t have a particular need for it, and I don’t miss it when it’s gone, but it’s in my toolkit.

A straightforward and extremely powerful windows configuration tool.
Where configuring Windows involves digging through various applications and their menus, and editing the registry, by placing all the important things in one easily-navigated tool, configuring Windows becomes easy with this tool.

Though it can do other stuff, I use this to edit ISO images meant to be burned to a CD or DVD, to make them appropriate for copying to, and booting from, a USB stick.
Phenomenal. I wish I knew about this a long time ago. I’ve ignored many Linux distributions because of the very issue this tool solves.

Automagically repairs a boot loader.
This is something I wish I had/knew about a long time ago. I’ve had bootloader misadventures that really stressed me out.
I’ll accept this, even though it uses systemd.

I’m sure an updated version will use systemd, as Gentoo now does.

was http://www.movsd.com/thegun.htm
A notepad.exe replacement in 6,144 bytes.
Particularly notable because its configuration is done through an external program which directly modifies the THEGUN.EXE binary.
I tossed this in with my portable applications. It’s tiny, and I figure it’s one of those “just in case” sort of applications.
