Curiosity can be a compulsion which skirts the intellect to such a degree morality is disregarded when “no harm will be done”. this is seen with curiosity-driven hacking when security is bypassed. Sometimes the security itself is the focus of the curiosity and it is being explored. Sometimes there is something beyond that security which is the focus, and the security is merely being stepped past.
