Years ago, a city was shaken by two super-brothers having a super-spat, but their legend lives on in a gang whose leader wants to continue the fight.

It’s not particularly superhero and doesn’t really establish any sort of franchise. It’s not bad, and it’s not great; it’s just fine. It’s vanilla, and sometimes that’s just what you want.

Some idiots go grave robbing to protect a thing, leading bad guys there to steal the thing, then a worse guy shows up, then assholes some fight instead of talk, and there is some dialog throughout and with all the action and dead men, no women are even hurt; equality!

Meh. Big fucking meh with a weak script, acting, story.. everything is just weak.

A ruined future world has a mercenary hired to smuggle and protect a person of interest. I guess.

It’s merely okay because it suddenly pivots into some fantasy nonsense. If it immediately established things, or if it eased into it, then it would have been far better. It’s perfectly watchable, but not particularly recommended.

A man’s fiancé is kidnapped, and he and his friend move to rescue her from what turns out to be ancient Chinese mystical forces.

A phenomenal movie. Fun and interesting. The acting is great, the story is great, the setting is great. I easily consider this mandatory viewing, and I think it holds up even after all these years.

Messy and awkward in places, and definitely not written as a proper romance. Vaguely-recommended for people who want to see one perspective on the alternate reality theme.
