A handful of Nazi scientists have toiled in secret to find and use a ring kept by some Americans in Egypt which they believe leads to an advanced civilization.
A rehash of other ideas done in a somewhat more amateur way, with a cheap ending as a prequel to either the original movie or series. Interesting to watch if you’re a fan of the franchise but absolutely skippable if you’re not.

(on Wikipedia) Two strangers press a button and are whisked away to a capitalist dystopia. It’s alternately boring and stupid.
Entertainment > Movies > (on Wikipedia) A small research vessel is knocked down by a meteor shower, triggering a panicked military response and causing hundreds of civilian casualties. An endearing and distracting movie. Recommended, even though the dubbing is exaggerated and loud.
Entertainment > Movies > (on Wikipedia) A drug reveals an alien world. It has undertones which could make it very disturbing, however it is half-tainted by and half-infused with comedy. With a unique universe and being extremely watchable, this is definitely memorable and enjoyable. I’ve heard it described as Evil Dead II – (1987 movie) meets Naked Lunch – (1991 movie). I think it also has a bit of the spirit of They Live – (1988 movie). If you know and liked those films, you’ll like this one. A must-watch.

This is a must-watch movie, not for its story and plot as-such, but for its feel. It has ideas which really stick. I think Buckaroo Banzai might be particularly cool for young boys.
