Pretty good. It’s definitely got the “TV series” feel to it, which explains how many seasons there are.

- Watching that movie is not mandatory to watch this series.
- This series has different actors.
The stylized “A” in the title (with the middle bar missing and the circle over it) is a reference to that symbol representing the Earth when programming a stargate.

A detective is haunted with hallucinations that include his dead partner, who was killed under mysterious circumstances.

I think some would find this movie slow and boring, and I did at first, but it very quickly revealed a depth and character that I haven’t seen in any television show before and I doubt I will again.

This isn’t a classic cop-and-mystery show. All I can say is give this a good chance, at least until the end of the second episode.

A mediocre show. It started episodic with no story arc, but then grew a weak one.

This show was cancelled after one season. I can see why.

The world, having gone to shit for some reason, has no guns for some reason, and, in a world nothing like Mad Max – (1979 movie), things happen for various reasons.

It’s a manly man man show, with fighting and stuff, though it does have some sort of fantasy fiction quietly woven in. It seemed fair, but I struggled to get through season one and just didn’t care after a couple of episodes of season two.

Loosely based on Journey to the West, attributed to Wu Cheng’en.

Though an author tags along with the police because a particular detective is particularly hot, it turns out he’s actually helpful.

I adore this series, even though it gets repetitive later on.

Supposedly comedy. It’s not.

I find this really strongly uncomfortable. It has a whole lot of immoral or awkward assholishness. Maybe this would develop later, but there’s no way I’m going to get through this show’s growing pains if it’s full of more of what I’ve already seen.

I watched this for a bit, and it’s slow and boring.

Based on the Marvel Comics character Jessica Jones, whom I hadn’t heard of until now.
I was only interested in this, because I know Krysten Ritter from Breaking Bad – (2008 show).
This takes place in New York City.
