I wouldn’t imagine this to have been a critical success.

An investigator of airplane disasters learns their passengers are critical to the plans of a woman he falls in love with.

This is one of the early time travel movies which really grabbed me and brought me into the genre. I don’t know that I’d call it great or could strongly recommended it to others, but I like it a lot.

A scientist from the future goes back in time to do (stuff that I wasn’t paying attention enough to figure out), but his assistant’s daughter goes back to stop him with the help of one of the grandfather’s of time travel.

For an old TV-movie this is pretty good.

  • The actual movie is copyright 1986.

Newly-developed military nano-technology is stolen by terrorists in a plot to take over the world, and only a super-elite team chosen from the international best can stop them.

This movie is another example of both an astonishingly wide gap between its original audience and current audience, and a needless unimagination in original movie universe-building authorship.

  • Properly titled G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
  • Based on the G.I. Joe toy / cartoon franchise.
  • In association with Hasbro.
