Laser things, move things, push things and find your way through semi-puzzle stuff.

With an art style (and opening sequences) reminiscent of Borderlands – (2009 game) and gameplay reminiscent of Okami – (2006 game), this game has a very strong initial impression on me.

Not open-world, and definitely “on rails”, but it does give a lot of power to the user as to how to fart around to progress.

While overall good, the controls are wonky and cliffs are obnoxious. There should be no falling off mechanic and the game should instead dangle the player for a moment and never let them fall.

A freemium Minecraft clone with a number of improved features.

It’s prettier but has a lot of pop-in. The two block-high jump and sliding movement are unsettling. It’s nice to have a list of all crafting patterns, and searching is nice. Crafting is very nice with its previews.

Overall I’d say this is a good game and an appropriate drop-in replacement for people who like Minecraft.

A space simulator fps thingy.

While it looked quite good at a glance, when actually trying it it fell flat. When a game cannot lean on cutting-edge technology, it has to have solid gameplay. It didn’t feel good at all to me. I guess No Man’s Sky – (2016 game) spoiled me.

TL;DR:

  1. RK Shaving Stainless DE Razor Blades, balanced and from a good company (check out their razor handles!)
  2. Dorco Prime Double Edge Razor Blades, value yet great quality
  3. Merkur Super, unmatched quality and very forgiving but expensive. Highly recommended for beginners.

Problem: Can I get more value for my blades?

  • Do I pay too much for blades?
  • Are there better blades for sensitive skin or unskilled use?
  • Are there blades which are more durable, granting more uses?

A multiplayer, text, third-person shooter originally made for DOS, but I know it from Novell Netware.

I had a hell of a lot of fun with it. Perhaps it’s nostalgia which makes me stay so fond of it, but I think the fundamental gameplay still holds up today. I could easily imagine a great updated version of this but I have and still do see this same gameplay in all sorts of other top-down games.

Follows a unit in the 101st Airborne Division during World War 2.

Quite a good story. It’s full of faces I know. Great acting and spectacular realism.

  • Note: This video style is shaky.
