I experimented with this during my replacing web browser components project as a replacement for various ad blocking, Greasemonkey and Stylish.

This looks like it hasn’t been updated in forever, because there are references to it being tested under Windows 95/98.

I experimented with cliget during my replacing web browser components project. I was interested in replacing Greasemonkey and Stylish, Adblock (now I use Adblock Latitude), Change Referer Button, etc. While I did get it working, I didn’t stick with it.

This plugin will be useful to people that cannot/or don’t want to use libapache2-mod-removeip (because you don’t use Apache or don’t want to wipe out the IP logging on all vhosts).
