A poor village is robbed, and a young man sets out to retrieve the village’s most prized possession.

Quite good and holds up well. In context there were very few movies of this grit out at the time, and it really made waves.

Mercenaries mercenary, but not effectively, and survivors band together for revenge.

It’s a solid violence-filled thriller more in the American style than Indonesian, so it’s good but not great.

A straightforward plot with similar actors playing the similar roles from other movies, making this blend into a multi-movie mood. Highly recommended.

Aliens wipe out most of humanity for some reason, then they choose to not wipe out the rest of humanity for some reason, then stragglers struggle to survive and such.

Really really awkward writing. There is so much that makes no sense whatsoever, even in the context of the show itself. It has snippets of potential but it’s overall torturous for anyone who tends to pay attention; not recommended.
