A team investigates the killing of genetics researchers by their secret laboratory’s artificial intelligence, learning it had a good reason to do so.
Quite good, even after its era. It does not show much age except for one monster. This movie headed the resurrection of the zombie movie sub-genre.

An antiquities reclamation rogue discovers an ancient Egyptian prison, and becomes an unwilling agent for the curse within.
At best this is an adequate movie. I could weakly recommend it for fans of this sub-genre, but otherwise give it a pass. It has a budget that’s stronger than its writing or acting.

A day-walking vampire halts his crusade against them, forming a truce to hunt an even worse monster.
An adequate movie, with an acceptable amount of over-the-top nonsense. Definitely worth watching for fans of the original. Easily stands the test of time.

I believe I watched this movie already, but perhaps it faded from memory due to its mediocrity. I couldn’t watch very far in before being entirely turned off at the concept of the main character.

Blade meets other vampire hunters who are working against vampire plans to resurrect the progenitor vampire to try to make better vampires. Again.
A mediocre movie. For big fans of the first two, this is recommended. For people who found the first one okay and the second one merely passable, this can be safely skipped.
For fans of either of Jessica Biel or Ryan Reynolds, this is a look into their future movies.

How do I describe this without spoiling it? I know a lot of people don’t like found-footage movies, but this one is quite good as it actually shows everything.
