The Chronicles of Narnia cover

Some kids are given Lantern rings for transporting around.

I read a decent ways in before getting bored. The combination of language (English-age) and language (audience-age) made it tiring. It’s definitely a book to be read aloud to a 10 year old girl, and I respect that. I’d, even, be the one to do the reading aloud.. but not the listening.

This is a seven volume unabridge compilation, presented in the author’s intended reading order.

From ancient archives

Note that the dates from the oldest articles are likely wrong, as they were ported from a still-older content management system. I have very very old references to that porting process, which will itself eventually get ported.

Many hackers have noticed that mainstream culture has shown a tendency to pathologize and medicalize normal variations in personality, especially those variations that make life more complicated for authority figures and conformists.

xpra is similar to rdesktop, except it lets you run single application windows instead of a whole desktop environment. It also lets you “detach” from the session, so the applications you run will stay running on the Raspberry Pi when you turn off your other computer.

This would be idea, but I cannot get this working properly. At some point I had the Raspbian repository xpra working, but now I can’t even get that version to exist. It says it installs, but it doesn’t exist on the Raspberry Pi or my desktop.

Based on Chrome‘s open-source components (Chromium), but with real-browser functionality added.

Spectacular. It has all the pieces missing from Chrome. I’d strongly consider switching to it from Pale Moon if it had proper ScrapBook X support.
