FocusWriter icon

A beautified text editor with the widgets around the edges removed (“distraction-free”).

I started using it because I couldn’t trivially get Geany spell checking working. Once I did get it working I stopped.

Although I’ve used this on Linux a bit, it merely idles in my Windows kit.

Based on Chrome‘s open-source components (Chromium), but with real-browser functionality added.

Spectacular. It has all the pieces missing from Chrome. I’d strongly consider switching to it from Pale Moon if it had proper ScrapBook X support.

Can install other software provided by Cygwin.

  • 712, 774 – apparently abandoned, last updated 2016-05-02.

    • The main contributors are still alive, I see them posting on their Twitters.
    • I’ll likely move to pure Cygwin, and get my common applications installed. That should be easy, but who the hell knows with Linux.

My configuration specific to Babun is currently scattered throughout my git repository, just findinall Babun (using my findinall() )
