Disambiguation: Leatrix Latency Fix

World of Warcraft > AddOns >

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/leatrix-plus

Combines multiple little conveniences and opens up basic functionality that would normally require multiple separate addons.

The author has an incredible philosophy of simplicity and strict programming. This addon is created in such a way that each of its features is only loaded up if you enable the feature, meaning that if Blizzard breaks anything, this addon doesn’t implode.

Absolutely mandatory.

A UI for the Shadow-Lord Iskar fight. Allows one to double-click to pass the eye, and right-click to dispel. Mandatory for that fight.

I configure it so it looks like a clone of my regular raid frames.

Rings an alarm when you’re standing in fire.

Absolutely mandatory. It really teaches you the mechanics of a fight. Yells even through a muted game.

  • Note that Project Ascension has a feature built-into the interface settings to enable visually showing enemy patches of bad.

Primarily a cast bar replacement, it also allows for some other bars.

I only use it for its most simple feature. A single bar. A bar with a proper simple font.

Yet another VoIP client.

A clumsy “pretends to be pretty” interface, but it seems reasonable enough. Definitely not better than Mumble for the basics.

It might be better-suited for large groups, or because it has a free server, or some other thing I haven’t discovered. I’ll keep it in my toolbox, but I don’t really like it.

Broker Garrison image 1

World of Warcraft > AddOns >

LibDataBroker AddOn which gives you information on all the garrison-related stuff for all of your characters. Mandatory for letting you see what’s been completed on which alt. Can give a list with expanding parts, or toast popups. Highly customizable.

I have this configured to give me a number of completed missions at a glance, so I can be prompted to log over and make my garrison cash rounds.
