In a future Vancouver, a copy is swept up into politics and stuff and things..
Great effects and environment, but the writing is weak and the acting is atrocious.

A missing father leaves clues that lead to a mysterious building that leads to other worlds.
While it doesn’t feel slow, it ultimately doesn’t get far enough to come across as anything other than a pilot episode for a TV series. Not recommended, but it’s good enough that for people who are vaguely interested in the science fiction of it, it might be worth watching on a second screen.

An unknown event gave alternate-past Victorian Londoners a random superpower, and their numbers became pronounced enough to attract the attention of worried politicians. Or something.
Really interesting! I guess it’s worth watching, but it slide sideways and got too strange to follow. It really needed more seasons to figure it’s shit out, but the woke brigade MeToo-dogpiled Joss Whedon without evidence so he got shunned.

A world is all ruined and planty, and people use plant technology to get by. I guess.
Plants are gross and dangerous. I mean it’s a movie I guess, but it’s not.. greater than it’s grossness.

Aliens wipe out most of humanity for some reason, then they choose to not wipe out the rest of humanity for some reason, then stragglers struggle to survive and such.
Really really awkward writing. There is so much that makes no sense whatsoever, even in the context of the show itself. It has snippets of potential but it’s overall torturous for anyone who tends to pay attention; not recommended.

Synthetic humans are created, but once again philosophers weren’t involved, and when some present intelligence and emotion they take umbrage at being slaves.
Adequate, but neither revelatory nor particularly interesting. Not particularly recommended except for people who like the general topic (which is why I made a tag for it).

A ruined future world has a mercenary hired to smuggle and protect a person of interest. I guess.
It’s merely okay because it suddenly pivots into some fantasy nonsense. If it immediately established things, or if it eased into it, then it would have been far better. It’s perfectly watchable, but not particularly recommended.

Just a bunch of narration and storytelling.. nothing happens.
