It’s a little off in places, but has a nice consistent tone. Recommended only if you loved it’s earlier movie, The Man from Earth – (2007 movie).

The founder of that particular wizarding school was a dick, left, and yet still founded house Slytherin. He left a dickish trap in the school to, apparently, continue to be a dick from beyond the grave.
And stuff. Don’t think about it too hard. It’s watchable but childish like all the others.

A really straightforward and tame movie. It’s absolutely nothing compared to the awe that 80s kids movies have, and I would never recommend it to kids with a brain.

Pretty straightforward and interesting; recommended. It unfortunately doesn’t tie itself up neatly.
